[TowerTalk] TH6 assembly

I am about to assemble a new-in-the-box TH6DXX (assuming all the parts are 
really there after all these years).  Aside from using Penetrox on the joints, 
are there any other tricks, like secret dimensions, etc. that I should be aware 
of before I get too far in it?  

Suggestions concerning the best balun, RF choke, or whatever you choose to call 
it are also most welcome.
