...no matter I'm pretty solid on the stainless steel concept
particularly after your note. On the other point I tried to make...it
wasn't directed at Lee but really something for all of
participants on the reflector. We have to love and hate you guys that
build this stuff we
buy for our hobby. But we have to do it in ways that help you do better
for us...over the past 40 years that I've enjoyed radio as a pass time
I've seen my vendor choices deminish to just a handful...I'd like to
imagine what ham radio might be like today if Hammerlund, Halicrafters,
Heathkit, Layfayette Radio, Drake, National, SWAN, TELREX, CDR, and the
others were still in the business, in a big way.
I enjoy the this reflector. But I dislike the bias and other human flaws
that seem to jump out
every so often. I thought it was time to just step up and defend a fair
level playing field
for commentary...
