My Tristao HDX555, motorized, bought in 1980 from Lou Tristao, came tumbling,
telescoping down in about 12 years because the cables were rusted out & broke.
I had the coax,etc.,cables INSIDE the tower and, consequently, the tower was
ruined.
The beams I had on top (2mtr, 10/15 duobander, & 20 mtr mono) are "inverted"
beams. Therefore I strongly recommend your replacing the cables before the
same thing happens to you.
