Jurgen, and many others...

thanks for letting me know you had selsyns...

I have received-mail from hams as far away as KL7 who had selsyns for =
sale....I found some from a ham who lives 2 miles from where I work!!! =
There are a bunch of them mounted on a deck, some 110 and some 90 =
volt...they were made by Bendix.

The 110V ones are labeled synchro transmitter, and the 90 V are labeled =
synchro control transformer. I am hoping the 110V units will work as a =
pair...=20

Hopefully these will perform for me, they were salvaged form the local =
airbase control tower after a re-working....they look great!

NOW THE BIG QUESTION:

I know two of the wires supply the voltage and the other three are for =
keeping the selsyns in synch...which is which however?

The end of the selsyn has the terminals marked as follows:

S1 R1 S2 R2 S3

....since two of the descriptions start with "r" I wonder if a guess of =
those as the voltage/power hookup points is a good guess?

Anyone out there recognize those markings?=20

73,

Jim, K4OJ
