Mike,

All kinds of recalc introduced by what you suggest doing.

I believe, for sure, the rating would actually drop below 10 sq ft., the
normal HDBX56 ft rating, because you're raising all sections above the BX7
section 8 ft. and therefore above their normal distance above sections BX7
and BX8, the two lowest sections.

This would put more bending moment on the base section because sections with
larger wind area are being put farther out on the "lever".
