I took the plunge and bought a Big Boy rotor. The name fits, it's BIG.

The control box, with the exception of the cheesey toggle switch for
direction control (already replaced) is a work of craftmanship. The stuff
inside is well made and well put together.

Now the question. The box has a DB9 port on the back and I have software
that will control a rotor. The circuitry is opto-isolated and gives a 0 to
5 volt signal for positioning. Do I need to make a a-d converter or can I
just plug it into a serial or parallel port and enjoy?

Tnx...............

by the way, the help I got with computer controling the radio was great,
thanks to all who responded.
