There is a source of good hardware that many of us might not consider- the
Farm Co-op, or, my favorite, the "Tractor SAupply Co." - (aka TSC) chain. I
have found all grades of bolts in a wide range of sizes, chain and cable,
and their fittings, in several grades, and some of the best heavy
galvanized parts I've seen.
The farm is a place that needs strength, weather resistance and
reliability, too.
