Thanks for the quick reply. I wouldn't want to void the warranty so I'll
leave the rope trick alone. The antenna is bolted to a leg on my Rohn 25G
tower but not real tight. I just wanted to get it out of the way but not
put enough pressure on to deform the tower leg. Perhaps when properly
bolted to a mast it will settle down. I have noticed over the years that a
slight, steady breeze will cause things to oscillate.
