yes, the fibreglass seems adequate
actually my largest diameter tube is 48mm
with 45mm ID, so the 1.5 inch is not far off
the UMHW material also looks interesting
(i'm off to do a net search)
US sourcing is out of my budget
but will see if something similar is available
here in australia (usa treasury doesn't seem
to want any of our aussie pesos)
