I purchased a power winch from TowerTec after the safety latch broke on the
manual crank and beat up my hand and arm. Fortunately the tower wasn't
cranked to full heights when it wheeled down rather fast.
The TowerTec has worked for years and I never regretted installing it 20
years ago. TowerTec advertised in QST, but don't know if there still there.
