It's true. The US has turned into a nervous
hand-wringing old lady whose afraid of her own shadow.
I've been spending a lot of time in Italy and France,
and we are becoming the butt of the joke if not an
outright laughingstock over there.
Here in California it is now illegal for anyone under
the age of 18 to ATTEND AND WATCH a horse event
without wearing a helmet.
Our local team penning bunch has been aggressively
ignoring the helmet rule and has just been warned that
violators will be cited en-mass(the whole audience if
necessary) if they continue to ignore it.
