Here is a tip that may be of some help on connectors for CATV hardline.

See if you can get your friendly cable guy to give you some entry connectors
for the size hard line you have.  The entry connector is more plentiful that
the adapters.  The end of the entry connector that screws into the housing
is
the same size/thread as a PL-259 and has a long pin in the center.  Take the
threaded sleeve off of a PL-259 and cut off the shoulder.  Now break apart
the PL-259 to get the center pin.  Solder the PL-259 pin on that center pin
of the entry connector and cut off the excess entry connector pin.  Screw
the cut off sleeve on the connector.  Now screw a PL-259 splice into the end
and you have a female UHF end for your jumper to the antenna or rig.
