I've had the same S-402 at three different QTH'S, since 1976. It has
been an excellent antenna at 60-80 feet( its present height) allowing me
to take first place in Michigan both in the CQWW and SS back in the late
70's. I can get any country I hear without any problem on SSB. If I
get the Extra Class license someday, I am sure that my country total
will double! I haven't worked much cw. I have never had any mechanical
trouble and it has gone through wind, rain, snow, and a 1/2 inch of ice
at one time. The only complaint I had this summer was waiting for an
order of U-bolts and screws from Mosley. They were busy with military
orders for the action in Afghanistan.
