I've used WINPROXY for almost six years now with McAfee behind it and
have yet to contract a virus.  XYL did bring one in on a diskette from
school, but McAfee alerted her and her machine was quickly cleaned.

Great product, fast, transparent, and is now rather simple to set up.
Earlier versions required some network expertise to install and manage.

My 2 cents.
