An "OT"?

What is that?

"Out There"?
"Other Theory"?
"Orange Trombone"?
"Okalahoma Tricycle"?
"Old Troublemaker"?

Help me out here Mark, what is an "OT"?

(Before you guys jump on me for these questions, please note that Mark
and I go wayyyyyy back together. In fact, once in our youth we broke
into W6AQ's shack and operated a contest together while he was on
vacation. Heck, we didn't think he would mind. But that is another

I am sorry to see that "pruning a dipole" appears to have gone the way
of CW. It used to make a great rite of passage.

Frankly, no matter what the computer model says, I would STILL cut it
longer and trim it up, just to be safe, but then I'm an OT. I think
anyone who thinks they can actually get it perfect the first time is in
for disappointment.

Has anyone figured out how to accurately model "end effect?"
