It seems this bolt weakness with the HamIV was so infamous that Hygain "improved" it with SIGNIFICANTLY stronger bolts in the T2X. The T2X has 1/4"-20 bolts, the Ham-IV something like #8 or so self-tapping. If you need parts or service, the rotator guy in 'W8' is "The Rotor Doc" or C.A.T.S at http://www.rotordoc.com/ My dealings with him have shown him to be very willing to help via email and fast to ship parts.
