Take care on the coax diameter, and use the right N. Each cable type has
his own connector type.
Spending less $ or ? for coax connectors is not a good decision Barry.
And be aware of VENDORS who sell coax connectors like chewing-gum. The
latter you can chew it couple of hours and then throw it away. A coax
connector should be chewed a couple of years .....
About solder, There is the same criteria. different temperatures for
different solder types for different applications. More, very often its
preferable not to solder at all, a good mecanical contact ( if possible) is
even better in most cases .
But maybe this is only professional talk...... after all arent we just
amateurs.............!!!!!!
