Phil,

In general, tower guy tension is similar to sailboat rigging tension. I'm
not familiar with Polygon guys, but I'd advise you to pre-tension the guys
to 10 percent of the weakest material used.  Is Polygon an insulated
material..?  If so, I'd guess that the 5/16 EHS is the stronger of the two
materials used, so tensioning to 10 percent of the max rating of the Polygon
would be the way to go.  Be sure to tighten all of the guys, starting with
the lower sets, to the same tension in order to balance the load on the
tower.
