I use Pre-Lube 6 on the winch of a US Tower. The lube does not attract
foreign material and lubes the inner strands as well. The lube is in a
spray can and easy to apply. I believe the military uses it also. I got
it
from Champion Radio Products.

Any one have any suggestions of a lasting lubricant for the winch cables
on
telescoping towers. On our farm we normally use a oily rag and run it
along the cable but wonder if anyone has any other suggestions??
