Hello to all.
Tower information:
Not using the cement base re-bare cage as part of the tower ground system.
A Florida beach sand wet hole installation.

How close to the tower should the FIRST ground rod off each tower leg be ?

My concern is when the tower takes a lighting strike the cement base dose
not get damaged. I have seen this happen in New York where the first ground
rod was a foot or two away from the tower cement base. The Florida location
ground conductivity should be better as it is a wet salt water hole.

Thanks
Rich AA2MF
