There are several "LMR400 like" cables out there.

I have seen samples from Eu and several US manufacturers.

The big difference between LMR400 and RG213 type cables is that at higher frequencies, UHF and up, there is lower loss in the LMR cables. You do not want to use LMR400 on a rotating antenna as the center conductor will eventually fail from mechanical stress. You want to get LMR400UF.

Your reality check is we sell Times LMR400 for $0.53/ft.
