Not required here.
Call building office, ask if there were restrictions, they said there as a 35' 
structure limit.
Told tower was a crankup that could go high and I got it because it was heavy 
duty because of the wind in the area.
I quote them, "But you won't put it over 35', will you?"
DAH!!!!
I told them I'd be right over for a permit, they said don't bother we don't 
have one, just put it up!!!
