Jack, I used two 21 foot chain link fence rails, bolted with 1/4" lag bolts to 8 foot landscape timbers sunk at least 3 feet into the ground. I ran a bakstay of dacron cord from near the top of each. Cheap, effective and rugged. Rather than pulleys at the tops of the fence rails, I used staniless eyebolts with the loop closures facing up to avoid snagging the rather thin dacoron hayards suspending the antena. cost? about $26 each. "Communications" is a People skill, the rest is technology.
