Most significant differerence is the display:
259 has an LCD display for frequency & two analog meters for SWR and R
259B has a 2line LCD display which displays frequency, and R and X (w/o
sign) or SWR or....
I would imagine that the internal measurement and oscillator circuits are
basically identical.
