Greetings,

I wonder if someone can provide me back channel (kimpr@holonet.net) with
a suggested procedure for cleaning and relubricating a Kenpro thrust
bearing. It turns without binding, but before I put it into my roof
mount tower, I'd like to clean and lubricate the ball bearings as there
is grit and grime showing. Prior to opening the unit, I 'd like to know
if there is any spring loading involved with the seating of the race? I
don't want to remove the bottom section and have ball bearings shooting
through the shack, if you catch my drift.

I'd also appreciate knowing what solvent to use and, and what sort of
grease to use? I'd also be interested in hearing any other hints and
kinks pertinent to the subject.

Many thanks in advance for any help provided.
