I think the KT-34A has a 16' boom and insulated elements so just loading the
boom would be a poor antenna. I think he's looking for actual plans on
how to build a rotatable 40m dipole. The ARRL antenna book shows a taper
schedule for a full size 40m element. You can also use shorter and lighter
elements if you split the element with a fiberglass insulator and install a
coil or linear loading.
