Has anyone come up with a method of attaching a small VHF or UHF antenna at
or near the top of one of one the intermediate sections of a US towers or
similar crank up without interfering with the tower's operation (up - down)?
Thanks,

========================
Ken,
I have done this many times on both Tri-EX and US Towers, by adding a bracket
to support the VHF antenna to one of the tower section top tie plates. This
requires drilling a couple holes in that plate, but 1/4" or 5/16" holes will
not effect the strength. Fot the added bracket I have used both angle or round
stock depending on the antenna to be supported.

Regards,
Norman W4QN
