Some of Chicago burbs are still good places for Hams.... The mayor of Northfield ,Illinois ( very fine North burb) continuously reminds me that he is waiting for an application for a 100 foot tower so he can approve it. There are still some 1/2 acre teardown lots for 400,000 to 900,000 in town. Still further north, Deerfield ( where I am ) approves permits for tower w/ant for 60 feet... ( mine is a crankUP)...( it cranks down to 22 feet............................) So come on down or over...if you can stand being in the Midwest RF hole. bill _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
