There is this 190' tower beside the building that is open at the top and the
only transmitter antenna is a paging system on 462.925mhz and a 2 way at
153.050.  There are 6 guy wires at the top pn a torque arm that are 190'
long each and the far end of the guys are attached to steel poles 14' high
to allow trucks to drive below the wires and not hit them.  Of course there
are 3 more sets of guys lower down the tower.

The presence of the tower and guys may introduce pattern distortion for a nearby roof mounted vertical. Some modeling with EZNEC or other program should give you an idea if the effect is tolerable.
