If the tower sections do not taper from bottom to top you could cut the bent
section out and splice the remaining parts together. I did that on an Aluma
tower and the splice worked very well.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Universal Tower Section/s needed
Don't think I have posted this here. I have a Universal Tower (the aluminum
that has a bent 18 inch section on it. Looks to me like someone tried to
repair it and failed, as they blew the weld right through a leg. The base
is 26 inches. I have enough to go 40ft but would like something higher than
that and plan on putting a lightweight antenna on it. I guess I could use
stright sections in places. I am looking for leads on a couple of used
sections. I am in Carson VA, which is south of Petersburg.
