Hi All,

I find this all so laughable!!!!

I drive a 4 element SteppIR at ~60', by various radios and, at times, an
Alpha 87A, and I call tell you all from first had experience it is a WMD --
Weapon of Mass DX.

I bust through every pileup. I am never denied. NEVER. About the only
time I am not heard is when I am pointing in the wrong direction, and even
then, I often get in. I routinely beat Multi-Multi stations in content
pileups, and in casual DXing, I hear "The November 1 station, please" about
90% of the time, FIRST CALL.

This isn't made up, this is emperical observation.

The only thing that would be better at my QTH would be a STACK OF STEPPIRS.

The fact is, SteppIR anteannas work. They hear well, they transmit well,
and in the rain, you hear no noise, and the company stands behind their
product 100%.

So, complain all you like, detract all you like, and I'll see you in the
pileups. I won't be there long, so listen closely.

:-)

N1IK said that.

Brian

They are also very heavy for their size. And I do not trust all those moving
parts.
