Dan,

One bit of advice:

Builders of multi-tower stations too often neglect the significant
degradation caused by interactions between antennas for the same band on
collocated towers. This issue was covered in detail in K3NA's six part
series of articles in NCJ last year, and available on the web at:

http://www.ncjweb.com/bonus.php

Its difficult to generalize such a complex topic; however, its safe to say
that spacings less then two wavelengths (140 feet ) between two collocated
20 meter beams is certain to result in disappointing results whenever one
antenna points through the other. If you avoid that situation the
degradation is reduced, but its hardly worth having two antennas for the
same band at roughly the same height. The situation is bettter when the
spacing is much larger (ideally 300 feet or more) or when the tower heights
are much different.

You didn't mention the spacing between you towers; however, if its less than
140 feet or so, I recommend that you go with the 205CA and remove the 20
meter elements on your five band quad.

The WARC bands are well worth you time. You'll enjoy them.

73!

> Hi Everyone,
> Well, thanks for all the replies, Pro and against the Pro67B...Let me
explain what my plan is...I have a Trylon Titan tower that will put the
205CA at about 60' and the Hy-gain 7-2 at about 68' or so...and then I have
another 48' tilt-over tower that has a lightningbolt 2 ele 5 band quad
20-10 which will allow me the WARC bands also...I'm just trying to get as
much performance on 20m and 40m as I can afford. So, at least with the quad
I will also have a good performer on 17-15-12-10M. So, that's my plan as it
stands for now(unless I change my mind and get the KT-34XA/7-2 combo,
lol)..I'm hoping the 205Ca and 7-2 will be up by Mid Summer and the quad up
before winter...but at least this will give me some pretty decent
performance on 20m and 40m, considering I can't afford a 200' rotating tower
with multiple monoband yagi's, hi hi. Thanks for all the replies.
