Hi Glenn!

I recommend phenolic rather than fiberglass tubing. It's
extremely strong and has excellent moisture, dielectric
strength, electircal resistance and UV resistance properties.

Here's the supplier info:

AIN Plastics
800-431-2451

2 inches i.d. phenolic tubing (order the linen or canvas grade)
0.25" wall thickness
standard lengths are from 34 to 48 inches

Price is roughly $20.00 per foot in small quantities, with a $50
minimum order. There will be an additional charge if you order
less than a standard length.

Phenolic tubing is available in inside diameters from 3/16 to 4
inches (and larger) and wall thicknesses from 1/16" to 5/8"

73!
