This one is strange.  Here's the deal.  The beam tuned perfectly for the
previous owner.  We carefully labeled the elements, and the re-assembly
looks exactly like the picture in the manual.  However, according to the
MFJ analyzer, here are the resonance points:

15.22 MHz - 1.6:1 SWR
21.97 MHz - 1.2:1 SWR
29.35 MHz - 1:1 SWR

The measurements I checked (front and rear driven elements and reflector)
are exactly to manual specs.  Previous owner had even drilled the elements
and put a small sheet metal screw to "lock" them in place.

I even replaced the existing balun with a home-made coax balun.  No
change.  Feeding direct with no balun doesn't change resonance points.

Anybody????
