Unfortunately, here in litigious California where there are lots of
immigrants on
street corners as previously described. I know someone who used such a person
who shortly became "injured" on the job. Check your homeowners' policy to see
if workers comp is covered for temporary help. These people have a grapevine
which disseminates info, good and bad. It could be an expensive lesson.
