I only wanted to point that out because everyone always
measures X=0 in the shack and **assumes** X=0 in the shack
is the same as X=0 at the antenna.

X=0 (resonance) in the shack is only X=0 at the antenna
under very specific conditions that most people ignore.

The 5% change in length from insulation might indeed be
true....but it's also very important to remember we can't
really measure antenna resonance in the shack unless we know
a lot more than what a meter is telling us.

You received good answers, I just wanted to point out the
problem with making measurements of resonance at the shack
end of a feedline that has standing waves.
