As recommended by the manufacturer and many others, I use at least 10 feet
of steel from anchor point to the Phillystran.  Each end is terminated by
thimble and big grip, and a bow shackle connects the two thimbles.

I was wondering what you Phillystran people do with the lower part of your
Phillystran. Do you put steel guy at the bottom?  Are you worried about
brush fires or vandals?
