     I recommend you use a two-hole crimp lug and stainless steel nuts, bolts 
and split lockwashers at the ground window end of a #2 solid copper wire.  Try 
Harger ( http://www.harger.com/grounding.htm , then click on 1.8.3 Two Hole 
Long Barrel Compression Lugs ) or similar lugs.  
     At the ground rod use a Cadweld One-Shot charge, available from The RF 
Connection, www.therfc.com ) and others.  I would not recommend a bolted 
connection at the rod.
