Aluminum irrigation tubing lays around in the mud all the time
and never corrodes.  Why would aluminum wire corrode?  Did you
bury it or just lay it on the ground?  I wonder if a sacrificial
anode system could be used to protect radials like they do with
aluminum boats and water heaters?
