Some things to consider (from an old tower jock).

If it were worth anything why would the tower be let go for a buck? You
gonna check every weld?

If you DO take it down without damage, most likely you will let it rust in
the yard. Putting up a tower

is not exactly cheap, you WILL need new bolts, guys, etc. (can you say
liability?).

Unless one simply drops the tower, (if allowed at all), hiring riggers to
take it down will cost $$$

After all is said and done, you have a tower with a seven (7) foot face.
Using a tower of this size for amateur

use is an exercise in frustration.

Best bet? Buy a new tower from an amateur radio supplier. No hassles, no
insurance grief, no dangers,

no adapting, no injuries, no rusty castoffs in the back yard.

Most of all, be safe, keep smiling and 73!
