[TowerTalk] TIC ring calibration help

I have a tic ring 1022e with the 2100c lcd display controller.   Been  
messing with the calibration instructions for several hours and they  
are very unclear.   I cannot seem to get the calibration routine to  
come out right.   Can anybody help me out that has been through this  
before.
