One thing I DIDN'T say in my previous posts...and w2ttt asked
about, off-line:

We moved to MD 9 months after the claims.

Travellers refused to write coverage on the new house, even
though it wasn't in the woods, and had a radically different
risk situation.

They also refused to write my MD auto insurance,
and delivered notice of cancellation of my $1M liability
umbrella.

All of this, even though I'd been doing business with them
and with Aetna, whose property & casualty business they bought,
for over 30 years.

Whole new world out there. There is no loyalty.

And it isn't contained to Travellers. In VT, Allstate cancelled
homeowners coverage for a retired man who had been their agent for
35 years...and placed one claim, when the 1998 ice storm dropped
a big tree on his house. His son is a ham friend.

I would consider the league's insurance, in future.
