I have a Glen Martin Self supporting tower, 100 ft, 25 sf, medium duty,
that I plan to put up.

Question on the base. They recommend a large slab, but am considering
using 3 deep holes instead of the one large slab. The holes would be
about 18" round by 8' deep for each of the 3 legs. Rebar, of course, and
same bolts into the cement legs as recommended.

Is this something I should pursue, or strictly follow the manufacturing
instructions? The tower would be loaded to maybe 10 sf at the most, with
nothing more than 1 ft. above the top of the tower. No stacks of beams.

Reason is mainly for the ability to handle the hole and cement costs.

Thanks for any suggestions.
