I read on the reflector that it's not a good idea to guy a freestanding tower, 
because of forces applied that the tower is not designed to handle. On that 
same basis, is it OK to use a free-standing tower as one end support for a 
dipole?  If so, should another wire antenna always be installed to pull in the 
opposite direction, to balance things out? What factors should be considered 
when attaching wire antennas to freestanding towers? Or is there really no big 
cause for concern here?
