Not all plastic is created equal. My tower manufacture uses Schaefer Marine 
pulleys which use Delrin
sheaves. Its been up 5 years and shows no sign of wear. The tower is a 75 ft 
motorized tilt over
with a 4 element SteppIR. I run the tower up and down quite often.

I forgot to mention that after seeing the deep grooves in the aluminum pulley 
wheel, I shudder to
think what would have happened to the plastic sheave in the pulley I used to 
tram the 40-2CD. Thanks
