And you could use a size of pipe that is too large to get his jaws around.
You could make a thin cut lengthwise so you could get the pipe around the
guy and then the pipe would snap back. This way, you won't have to remove
the guy to get the pipe over it.
If you want to close up the cut, you could use pipe glue and some temporary
Velcro straps to hold the pipe for a few minutes until the glue dries.
