Has anyone put a 3element SteppIR antenna on the Martin M-18 tower with the
Hazer ?? It looks like the driven element comes awfully
close to the tower itself when the Hazer is in the lowered position. Perhaps
we should go with the 4ele version which would not be a problem except more
$$ !!
Is the Martin M-18 heavy enough for the 4 element SteppIR?? The tower would
be guyed from the Hazer itself.
The SteppIR is available with the 30/40 element as an add-on....except for
it being used in the correct direction, it would appear no better than a
dipole.
