Here, here!  Put me down for the archive service, too.

One of the comments I've been wanting to make (at the right time) to the 
League is that they might do a better job of utilizing their 
intellectual property for the sake of the hobby.  The publishing 
business is an important cash producer, but even so they might be able 
to use their/our "IP" to 1) Encourage new hams (make pubs available free 
or very cheap for newbies) and 2) retain members (free/cheap access to 
the history, etc.).  They have started giving "gift certificates" to 
major contributors (Diamond Club), which probably 3) helps with fund 
raising.

The IEEE digital library costs $35/mo on top of membership, but IEEE 
provides a couple orders of magnitude more stuff (and peer reviewed, 
too) than ARRL has for that price!

What this has to do with TowerTalk isn't too clear.  Sorry to the 
bandwidth hawks.
