My experience with my TX-489 is that when replacing the cables with any
pre-made ones, you need to remove the pulleys becuse the thimble ends will
not pass through the pulleys openings.

Just pull the new cables in while pulling the old cables out. You're lucky,
using pre made cable sets. Try it when making up your own cables.
