All the towers were struck at one time or another. The one that vaporized had
one to the best of my recollection, but that was in the early 70's so the
memory is a little fuzzy.
Another point: Of the three towers right behind the building, only one had a
Porcupine. These towers were all installed according the IB (Installation
Bulletin) and only one called for it. The towers all had similar antennas,
which were 4 Bay Bow-Ties cut for slightly different frequencies, all in the
UHF range.
